The paper said that the Ministry of Information Industry was "concerned" and is investigating the problem. The report also said that Google.cn is currently using the same ICP license as Ganji.com, a Chinese information website. Usually, foreign investors in Chinese internet services must hand over the operation of the service itself to a Chinese partner, with the foreign investor receiving payment for technical support. The paper said Google.cn''s operations appeared to be different and the name Ganji is not mentioned in Google’s reports about its China activities.
