China and Japan Sign Long-term Trade Agreement6 December 2005 (CHINA KNOWLEDGE PRESS)
Dec. 6, 2005 (China Knowledge) China and Japan have signed another long-term trade agreement in Tokyo today, paving the way for closer Sino-Japanese trade ties from 2006 to 2010, according to Jiefang Daily.
This agreement focuses mainly on stronger cooperation between the two countries on energy-saving technologies, environmental technology and development of related equipment. Both countries have also reached a Consensus on several issues, such as China''s export of coal to Japan and its import of energy-saving and environmental equipment from Japan.
This is the sixth long-term trade agreement signed between China and Japan since their first back in 1978.
