Marco Tronchetti Provera, Ceo of Pirelli Group, has participated on yesterday to the opening of the first plant in China. The plant, which will focus on the production of radial-ply tyres for trucks, is situated in Yanzhou, in the region of Shandong, and it represents, in the wording of Mr Provera, only the first step of the Italian group toward the Chinese market. The plant is a joint venture with Roadone corp.ltd, and the initial investment by the Italian producer is roughly Euro 60 Million.
